Last weekend we took a trip to Zion. We met Max and Brityn (& Madeline and Malcom too), and Mom, Dad, and Amy. We had SO MUCH fun! We just love camping. It also helps that we are always in good company. Here's the group.

Lauren loves camping more than anything in the world. We have learned that we can't even tell her we are going camping until the day before. She had so much fun hiking.
These little girls love each other more than anything. They talk about each other all the time and sweet Madeline has even started sending Lauren mail. (We need to be better at sending mail back.) We think about it all the time but I need to be better about doing it.

I love my hubby. I love to see him happy and relaxed. He and his brother have the best relationship and they love spending time together. It made my heart melt when I saw these 2 playing together. They were like little boys in a candy shop. They had so much fun together. They spent about 30 minutes just skipping rocks together. We need to make an effort to make more trips to play with them more often.

One of the reasons it's not too bad to go camping is because we have an awesome tent and blow up mattresses and a queen size sleeping bag. Can't complain with our set up. The only thing that it is missing is a heater or an air conditioner.

We took a walk to get some ice cream and then headed down to the river.
First we just hung out on the "beach".
And threw some rocks.
Then the kids (Brian is included in that) took their shoes and socks off.
