Easter

For Easter this year we went over to my parents house for dinner and for the traditional Easter egg hunt.  All of us were there except one of my brothers, his wife, and their 4 kids.  We had an Easter message before all of the festivities began.  We watched a video from lds.org about the true meaning of Easter. I am so grateful for my Savior and for the Resurrection.  I love Easter time!
Since we have so many kids we had to split the younger kids and older kids up this year.  The little kids were in the front yard.

Grandma Jeffrey bought Lauren's Easter dress this year.  The color looks great on her!

Jessica helping baby Ellie and Philip.
the picture of Philip is a little blurry because what kid wants to sit still for me to take a picture of him when there are Easter eggs to find?
The big kids went in the backyard.  Maria got a chance to take part in her first Easter egg hunt.

Sammy.

Sharisse and Jessie.

Alyssa, Ellie, and Sharisse.  They too did not want to stop for me to take a picture of them.  There was a golden egg to be found.

Baby Zacky.

Checking out the loot after.  My mom also put scriptures in some of the eggs and the kids had to either complete them and tell them to my mom or match them up.  If they did they got extra special gifts.
