Brian's Grandma Alberta passed away on February 8th. It was a bitter sweet thing for the family. We were lucky enough to visit her in her care facility often. Brian was able to serve her a lot and be there with her during the nights so she wasn't alone. We said goodbye to her 2 days before she passed and we knew that it was goodbye. It was an amazing experience. She was an amazing example of how I want to be when I am old. She had a stroke and lost feeling to half of her body. She was in a lot of pain a lot of time BUT she always had a positive attitude. Whenever you would walk into her room she would have you look at a picture of the Savior on the wall and say "what is he saying to you?" She also had a question for every person that entered or exited her room. It was "Guess what? I love you". When she passed away there were a lot of tears at the facility. She left an impression on many people.

We are lucky enough to have a big enough house to hold all of Brian's family. Our house was the gathering place for everyone before and after the funeral. At some points we had 20 people at our house. It was crazy but a lot of fun to have everyone together. Grandma June gave Lauren her favorite thing ever. Flowers from the funeral. She LOVED them!

Mom and Dad were so worn out. Luckily they were able to get a nap in.
We got to see Angela and her family. It was fun to spend time with baby Zaria.
Max and Brityn stayed with us. It's always fun to be with the. Lauren LOVED having her cousin Madeline to play with. It was also nice to get some cuddles in with baby Malcom.
Madeline was so cute. She tried on just about every pair of Lauren's pajamas.
