Canadian Thanksgiving

Since Brian's mom is Canadian we get to celebrate 2 Thanksgivings.  (For those of you that don't know, Canadian Thanksgiving is the second Monday in October.)  We love this and have been carrying the tradition on for the last few years at our house.  We normally invite a new family over that we would like to get to know more but this year we decided to keep it simple.  We invited Brian's newly married cousin Brianna and her husband Brett over.  Brian's dad and Amy also came.  We had a great dinner and great company.

I found an idea on pintrest a while ago and decided that I wanted to try it out.  We decided to have a Thanksgiving table cloth.  We will write on it every year what we are grateful for.  It will be nice reminder to look back over the years to look back at what we were grateful for.  

 Lauren LOVED being able to write on something other than paper and not get into trouble.  She is the best little artist and was so excited to show her art skills on the tablecloth.
