Halloween

I love this time of year! Halloween is on of my favorite holidays and it also means that Christmas is getting closer. I am so ready to put my Christmas decorations us and to have my house smell like Christmas tree. That will come soon. Until then, here are our Halloween pictures.

Last Monday night for Family night we went to a Halloween store so Julio could buy his costume. Anytime Lauren doesn't like something or gets scared she plugs her ears. It is the cutest thing ever! Needless to say, she had her ears plugged through the whole store. Halloween can be a little scary for an almost 3 year old.

After that, we went Pumpkin shopping. The teens have never picked out a pumpkin or carved it. It was a lot of fun watching them pick out their pumpkins. Lauren was a great helper to haul them around.

We don't have a ton of time anymore with all the different schedules but we managed to squeeze in some carving time on Thursday night. Lauren didn't agree with the whole ooey, gooey, pumpkin mess. She tried to use a measuring cup to pull out the seeds but it didn't work too well.
Look how cute this little face is though! She's growing up WAY too fast!

Brian's cousin Julia joined us too. We LOVE her!! Her new Hubby Ryan is away in Iraq for almost 2 years. Here is her pumpkin.

She seriously is the best! We love this girl!
Julio's scary pumpkin.

Elisabeth's cute pumpkin.

Here is the final outcome of the pumpkin carving night.

Little Lauren LOVES to dance!! One of our daily activities is dancing around the house together. So for Halloween what could be more fitting than a little ballerina.

She was so excited to show EVERYONE her outfit. She loved the attention from everyone telling her how beautiful her ballerina costume was.

She was also REALLY excited about the whole trick-or-treating thing. She thought it was so cool that she got candy from everyone she saw.

Here are the kids in their costumes. They had a fun night! I'll have to post the video of Elisabeth trick or treating for the first time. Her friends recorded it and it was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. We laughed forever.
